Shelly Young | Kids Ministry

From a very early age, Shelly has had a passion for helping kids. She would “help out” in the nursery when she wasn’t much older than the children in the nursery. Growing up in church, surrounded by those strong in their faith, gave Shelly a sense of security that she hopes to provide to others who may not feel that security anywhere else.
As part of the Recon Kids ministry, Shelly hopes to use lessons from the Bible to help children build a strong foundation for their faith while creating an environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. She wants every child to understand that following God and learning His Word may not always be easy, but it is always fulfilling and rewarding.
Shelly’s greatest hope is that every child who walks through the doors leaves knowing they are loved and created with a purpose.
